Goal

Have the lowest total in your 4 face-down cards. Ace = 1, number cards = face value, J = 11, Q = 12, black King = 13, red King = −1.

Setup

Everyone gets 4 cards in a row, face down. You may look at your own bottom two only, once, at the start of the round. Remember them!

On your turn

Draw from the draw pile or the discard pile.

• From the draw pile: swap it into one of your cards (old card goes to discard face up), or discard it. If it's a power card and you discard it, you may use its power.
• From the discard pile: you must swap it into one of your cards.

Powers (only when drawn from the pile and discarded)

• 7 or 8 — Peek at one of your own cards.
• 9 or 10 — Peek at one opponent's card.
• J — Blind swap: swap any two cards on the table without looking.
• Q or King — Look & Swap: look at any two cards, then choose whether to swap them.

Slapping

Any time a card lands on the discard pile, anyone who thinks they hold a matching rank can slap it in — even out of turn. Guess right and that card is gone (fewer points!). Guess wrong and you pick up a penalty card.

Calling Kaabo

Instead of drawing, call Kaabo to end the round. Everyone else gets exactly one more turn, then all cards are revealed. If you don't end up with the strictly lowest score, you take a +10 penalty.

Winning

Scores add up across rounds. First to reach the target score has the worst total — the game ends and whoever has the lowest cumulative score wins.
